Greatest Love

Image

I HAVE LOVED YOU with an everlasting Love. Before time began, I knew you. For years you swam around in a sea of meaninglessness, searching for Love, hoping for hope. All that time I was pursuing you, aching to embrace you in My compassion arms.

When time was right, I revealed Myself to you. I lifted you out of that sea of despair and set you down on a firm foundation. Sometimes you felt naked–exposed to the revealing Light of My Presence. I wrapped an ermine robe around you: My robe of righteousness. I sang you a Love song, whose beginning and end are veiled in eternity. I infused meaning into your mind and and harmony into your heart. Join Me in singing My song. Together we will draw others out of darkness into My marvelous Light.

Jeremiah 31:3 – The Lord appeared to us in the past saying:“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.

Isaiah 61:10 – I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God.  For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

1 Peter 2:9 – But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light

His Promises Remain

Image

“He will reward each person according to what he has done.”
Mt 16:27 NIV

It’s Up to You

The Bible says, “For the Son of Man is going to come in His Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.” Let’s be clear: how you live now will determine what happens to you after you die. The choices you make each day don’t come to nothing when you pass away. They matter, and they’ll continue to matter throughout eternity. Your eternal destination is determined by what you believe, but your eternal reward is the result of how you behave. If you believe that and live accordingly, it will change how you think about life, how you think about God, indeed what you do one minute from now. God wants you to know that the positive consequences of your actions today can change your eternal prospects in astounding and wonderful ways, and He doesn’t want you to waste another minute. You don’t have to worry what awaits you on the other side of your last heartbeat. Others don’t decide that—you do! When the truth of this hits you, you’ll say, “I can’t believe I’ve prepared for my children’s future and my own retirement, but not given a thought to my real future!” One man put it like this: “I’ve always thought about finishing well. Now it turns out that death is just the starting gate.” The truth is that you can’t do anything about your past, but starting right now you can change your future—one choice, one day, one act at a time. It’s up to you.

                   Devotion:

Do not search for security in the world you inhabit. You tend to make mental checklists of things you need to do in order to gain control of your life. If only you could check everything off your list, you could relax and be at peace. But the more you work to accomplish that goal, the more things crop up on your list. The harder you try, the more frustrated you become.

There is a better way to find security in this life. Instead of scrutinizing your checklist, focus your attention on My Presence with you. This continual contact with Me will keep you in My Peace. Moreover, I will help you sort out what is important and what is not, what needs to be done now and what does not. Fix your eyes not on what is seen (your circumstances), but on what is unseen (My Presence).

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
-Isaiah 26:3 nkjv

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
-2 Corinthians 4:18

Priceless Sacrifice

Priceless Sacrifice

The title of this post was actually the name I intended to give my blog. It was taken. My wonderful friend helped me in getting the name of this blog. She also has a blog too. You can check out her blog http://gracehopelove.wordpress.com/ . God is good.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

“Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. -Isaiah 1:18

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace -Ephesians 1:7

Reflect On Your Life

Image

“Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love.”
Ecc 9:9 NIV

Instrument Rated (8)

Instrument rated for marriage. Today Christian marriages are falling apart at the same rate as non-Christian marriages. And those who go through it need our love, not our condemnation. But clearly, something’s wrong that needs to be put right! Two of the leading causes of divorce are financial stress and pornography. When you become overextended by purchasing things you can’t afford and don’t need, you’re headed into trouble. And when you open your mind to sexual fantasy, you entertain images your mate can’t live up to, and your relationship begins to deteriorate. Solomon writes, “Catch us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines, for our vines have tender grapes” (SS 2:15 NKJV). Notice the word “tender.” When we fail to treat one another tenderly, graciously, lovingly, considerately, and with respect, the plane we’re flying in together takes a nosedive. A neglected partner is vulnerable to anyone who comes along. Resentment wells up and takes over. If God’s Word doesn’t work in your home and in your marriage, then it won’t work anywhere else! An instrument-rated Christian understands that the secret of having a good marriage is not just in finding the right person—but in becoming the right person. And that can only happen when you make a daily commitment to living by the principles of God’s Word and demonstrating the fruits of the Spirit (See Gal 5:22). The story is told of one spouse who said to the other, “I never knew what real happiness was until I married you—now it’s too late.” Unless you want that to be your story, start tending the home fires.

Devotion:

Rest in My Presence, allowing Me to take charge of this day. Do not bolt into the day like a racehorse suddenly released. Instead, walk purposefully with Me, letting Me direct your course one step at a time. Thank Me for each blessing along the way; this brings Joy to both you and Me. A grateful heart protects you from negative thinking. Thankfulness enables you to see the abundance I shower upon you daily. Your prayers and petitions are winged into heaven’s throne room when they are permeated with thanksgiving. In everything give thanks, for this is My will for you.

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. -Colossians 4:2

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. -1 Thessalonians 5:18

Lay Your Burdens

Image

I AM ABOVE ALL THINGS; your problems, your pain, and the swirling events in this ever changing world. When you behold My Face, your rise above circumstances and rest with me in Heavenly realms. This is the way of Peace, living in the Light of My Presence. I guarantee that you will always have problems in this life, but they must not become your focus. When you feel yourself sinking in the sea of circumstances, say; “Help me, Jesus!” and I will draw you back to Me. If you have to say that thousands of times daily, don’t be discouraged. I know your weakness and I meet you in that very place.

Ephesians 2:6
“And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,”

Matthew 14:28-31
“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said.

Divine Assurance

Trust is a golden pathway to heaven. When you walk on this path, you live above your circumstances. My glorious Light shines more brightly on those who follow this path of Life. Dare to walk on the high road with Me, for it is the most direct route to heaven. The low road is circuitous: twisting and turning in agonizing knots. There the air hangs heavy, and dark, ominous clouds predominate. Relying on your own understanding will weigh you down. Trust in Me absolutely, and I will make your path straight.

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Fathers house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.
John 14:12

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:56

A Tribute To A Leader: Nelson Mandela

The father of Africa, our hero and a man of great leadership. A true activist. R.I.P in the arms of your creator. It’s so heavy on my heart. This year by far I can say has been a year that my eyes has opened up to many things. Mandela was such an inspiration to the world. He brought so much change. A man of wisdom and true sacrifice. His devotion to humanity has been a great one. I loved his quotes and the life that he lived. His legacy will forever live on. Heaven rejoice. God has called another angel. Rest in the bosom of your creator. Farewell, Mr. Mandela.

“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.” -Nelson Mandela

“A good head and good heart are always a formidable combination. But when you add to that a literate tongue or pen, then you have something very special.”-Nelson Mandela

“It always seems impossible until it’s done.”-Nelson Mandela

“No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”-Nelson Mandela

“There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.”-Nelson Mandela

“I am not a saint, unless you think of a saint as a sinner who keeps on trying.”-Nelson Mandela

“ As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.” -Nelson Mandela
