Through It All

Happy New Month. Yet another month, God has brought us through. I don’t know what you are facing in this season but know that and believe in your heart that Christ is Enough. The Bible reminds us of God’s grace. Every morning, we wake up it’s all because of his Grace. Be reminded that our tears are still prayers to God. When you feel like you are stuck and cannot move on, know that I am praying for you. Be reminded that God still cares.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

So in our weakness, know that God will strengthen you. It hasn’t been easy facing every trial but know that you are never alone. Though the storms may come, know that there’s a God, our God that is greater than ever trial we will ever face. We birth testimonies to share of the goodness of Christ even in our pains.

“The real cry of all our hearts is that we need Jesus, that we need Him to restore us, to fill us, to love us, and to never leave us. Beloved, He will always answer our cries, and He will even hear our whispers; always responding with love and grace. ” -T.B. LaBerge

Here below is the lyrics to the song above:

“Christ Is Enough”

[VERSE]
Christ is my reward
And all of my devotion
Now there’s nothing in this world
That could ever satisfy

[PRE-CHORUS]
Through every trial
My soul will sing
No turning back
I’ve been set free

[CHORUS]
Christ is enough for me
Christ is enough for me
Everything I need is in You
Everything I need

[VERSE]
Christ my all in all
The joy of my salvation
And this hope will never fail
Heaven is our home

[PRE-CHORUS]
Through every storm
My soul will sing
Jesus is here
To God be the glory

[BRIDGE]
I have decided to follow Jesus
No turning back
No turning back

The cross before me
The world behind me
No turning back
No turning back

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I hope you are encouraged and blessed as you already are. I hope this new month of June brings about peace, love, joy, and many of God’s blessings  to you and your family. Have a great week 🙂

Leave It Up To Him

Image

When things don’t go as you would like, accept the situation immediately. If you indulge in feelings of regret, they can easily spill over the line into resentment. Remember that I am sovereign over your circumstances, and humble yourself under My mighty hand. Rejoice in what I am doing in your life, even though it is beyond your understanding.

I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. In Me you have everything you need, both for this life and for the life yet to come. Don’t let the impact of the world shatter your thinking or draw you away from focusing on Me. The ultimate challenge is to keep fixing your eyes on Me, no matter what is going on around you. When I am central in your thinking, you are able to view circumstances from My perspective.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. -1 Peter 5:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” -John 14:6

“If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging.”
Ro 12:8 NLT

Encouragement—It’s a Powerful Thing

Many a man and woman who quit would have kept going if they had just received a word of encouragement from someone. Encouragement is so vital that the Scriptures rank it up there with gifts like teaching and leadership (See Ro 12:6-8). Here are two stories that illustrate the power of encouragement. Story one: Not long ago the world watched as three gray whales, icebound off Point Barrow, Alaska, floated battered and bloody, gasping for breath at a hole in the ice. The whales’ only hope was to be somehow transported five miles past the ice pack to the open sea. Rescuers began cutting a string of breathing holes about twenty yards apart in the six-inch-thick ice. For eight days they painstakingly coaxed the whales from one hole to the next, mile after mile. Along the way one of the trio vanished and was presumed dead. But finally, with the help of Russian icebreakers, the other two whales, Putu and Siku, swam to freedom. Story two: Jackie Robinson was the first black player in the U.S. to play major league baseball. While breaking baseball’s color barrier, he faced jeering crowds in every stadium. Playing one day in his home stadium in Brooklyn, he made an error and his own fans began to boo him. As he stood, humiliated, at second base, “Pee Wee” Reese came over and stood next to him. He put his arm around Robinson and they faced the crowd together. The fans grew quiet; the game continued. Robinson later said that arm around his shoulder saved his career! Encouragement—it’s a powerful thing. So who can you encourage today?

Lean On Him

Image

Thank Me in the midst of the crucible. When things seem all wrong, look for growth opportunities. Especially, look for areas where you need to let go, leaving your cares in My able hands. Do you trust Me to orchestrate your life events as I choose, or are you still trying to make things go according to your will? If you keep trying to carry out your intentions while I am leading you in another direction, you deify your desires.

Be on the lookout for what I am doing in your life. Worship Me by living close to Me, thanking Me in all circumstances.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

-1 Peter 5:6-7

Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
-1 Thessalonians 5:18

Hold On

Image

“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope.”
Heb 10:23 NLT

Hope

Some of the people around you today are living without hope. Look at them; they smile, but their eyes are dead. They talk, but the music has left their voice. They’re like mannequins: all dressed up and going nowhere because they feel hopeless. But as a follower of Christ, you don’t have to live that way. “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.” Our hope isn’t luck, like winning the lottery. No, it’s confidence that God will do what He said. No one knew the truth of this better than David. He had every reason to lose hope. After Samuel anointed him to be Israel’s next king, he had to wait for seven years while a paranoid ruler occupied the throne. He had to flee for his life and hide in caves surrounded by enemies. He saw Israel devastated, his friends killed, and his family taken captive. But he never wavered or threw in the towel. Faced with circumstances that would wipe many of us out, the Psalmist said, “My hope is in You” (Ps 39:7 NKJV). “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning” (Ps 30:5 NKJV). In other words, “It’s going to get better!” You can’t lose with an attitude like that. David became king because he never lost confidence in the promises of God. They kept him focused; they kept him on top of the circumstances; they kept him going! What has God promised you? Stand on His Word and declare, “If God promised it, I believe it, and that settles it!”

Devotion: —> Bring Me the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Take nothing for granted, not even the rising of the sun. Before Satan tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden, thankfulness was a natural as breathing. Satan’s temptation involved pointing Eve to the one thing that was forbidden her. The garden was filled with luscious, desirable fruits, but Eve focused on the one fruit she couldn’t have rather that being thankful for the many good things freely available. This negative focus darkened her mind, and she succumbed to temptation.

When you focus on what you don’t have or on situations that displease you, your mind also becomes darkened. You take for granted life, salvation, sunshine, flowers, and countless other fists from Me. You look for what is wrong and refuse to enjoy life until that is fixed. When you approach Me with thanksgiving, the Light of My Presence pours into you, transforming you through and through. Walk in the Light with Me by practicing the discipline of thanksgiving.

I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of the Lord.~Psalm 116:17 (NKJV)

The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”

4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. ~Genesis 3:2-6

But if we walk in the Light, as He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin. ~1 John 1:7

God is able to do whatever he has done for your neighbor for you. If God is going to bless you today, no man can say “No” He is not a God of partiality. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” -Matthew 7:7. Let’s hold on. May we not give up, envy our neighbor. May we continually seek our God in all things. When we are up to Nothing, God is up Something. What God is able to do, man cannot do. He is able to do what he has promised. In spite of difficulties, may we hold on. Let’s Expect the Great.

Reflect On Your Life

Image

“Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love.”
Ecc 9:9 NIV

Instrument Rated (8)

Instrument rated for marriage. Today Christian marriages are falling apart at the same rate as non-Christian marriages. And those who go through it need our love, not our condemnation. But clearly, something’s wrong that needs to be put right! Two of the leading causes of divorce are financial stress and pornography. When you become overextended by purchasing things you can’t afford and don’t need, you’re headed into trouble. And when you open your mind to sexual fantasy, you entertain images your mate can’t live up to, and your relationship begins to deteriorate. Solomon writes, “Catch us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines, for our vines have tender grapes” (SS 2:15 NKJV). Notice the word “tender.” When we fail to treat one another tenderly, graciously, lovingly, considerately, and with respect, the plane we’re flying in together takes a nosedive. A neglected partner is vulnerable to anyone who comes along. Resentment wells up and takes over. If God’s Word doesn’t work in your home and in your marriage, then it won’t work anywhere else! An instrument-rated Christian understands that the secret of having a good marriage is not just in finding the right person—but in becoming the right person. And that can only happen when you make a daily commitment to living by the principles of God’s Word and demonstrating the fruits of the Spirit (See Gal 5:22). The story is told of one spouse who said to the other, “I never knew what real happiness was until I married you—now it’s too late.” Unless you want that to be your story, start tending the home fires.

Devotion:

Rest in My Presence, allowing Me to take charge of this day. Do not bolt into the day like a racehorse suddenly released. Instead, walk purposefully with Me, letting Me direct your course one step at a time. Thank Me for each blessing along the way; this brings Joy to both you and Me. A grateful heart protects you from negative thinking. Thankfulness enables you to see the abundance I shower upon you daily. Your prayers and petitions are winged into heaven’s throne room when they are permeated with thanksgiving. In everything give thanks, for this is My will for you.

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. -Colossians 4:2

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. -1 Thessalonians 5:18

Let It Go

Image

“The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize that the situation is over, you cannot move forward.” -Steve Maraboli

Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure. -Oprah Winfrey

Letting go is very painful and something that we have to do in life. Release the bags. Letting go of yesterday’s pain and striving towards a better tomorrow. Holding on to things does not show your strength. It takes courage to let it all go. Today, free your mind. Let it go. It will take time but you will get there. Ignite a fire. Release your burden. You deserve better. You are more than enough. A conqueror, an over-comer. You are a pillar of greatness. Nothing is worth holding on to. Your past..Release, Forgive and let it go. It’s a new day, another second and minute. Choose to release. Forgive others that you may have peace. Restore hope unto those who have been in your shoes. Stay blessed and beautiful and don’t let anyone tell you other wise.

Unfathomable Peace

                                                          ~Devotion: Jesus Calling

My peace is the treasure of treasures: the pearl of great price. It is an exquisitely costly gift, both for the Giver and the receiver. I purchased this Peace for you with My blood. You receive this gift by trusting Me in the midst of life’s storms. If you have the worlds’ peace- everything going your way- you don’t seek My unfathomable Peace. Thank Me when things do not go your way, because spiritual blessings come wrapped in trials. Adverse circumstances are normal in a fallen world. Expect them each day. Rejoice in the face of hardship, for I have overcome the world.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. ~Matthew 13:45, 46 (NKJV)

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,
~James 1:2

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” ~John 16:35
