Happy New Year everyone. I’m so grateful that God allowed us to see another day. As we have entered into the year, what are your declarations for this year. We can’t enter with the same mindset we allowed to embody us last year. It is a new day, a new season and a new beginning. Change must come. So take some time to write down your declarations, pray over them and allow God to have his way in everything you declare. We are reminded in the Bible that “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” -Proverbs 18:21
“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” -Proverbs 16:3
“And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” -Matthew 21:22
“The hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of bones. And he led me around among them, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and behold, they were very dry. And he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, you know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live.” -Ezekiel 37:1-10
When we take the time to examine these Bible verses, we can see that God. having faith and surrendering your plans to God is involved. We can speak things with our lips. We can outpour but if we don’t have the faith, it’s just talk. We must continually seek God in all our earthly doings. May we include this as we pray, Lord have your way and watch God do what he wants to do. After all, he knows and chooses best. I’m telling you this from experience. When we surrender our plans to God, even when things don’t go as we intended it to go, he gives you an assurance and peace in the situation. May we stay rooted in his word. Please take time to make your declarations. You can write it in a journal or on a post it, fold it and place it in a jar.
Declarations for 2017
1. I declare that this will be a year of God’s goodness in my family, friends, and those who come across my blog.
2. I declare that this will be the year that we will grow stronger in our walk with Christ. We will read our Bibles. We will take time to pray. We will be obedient. We will be able to differentiate between the Shepherd’s voice and the strangers whispers. No more excuses of God I want to know you but we don’t make the effort in doing so.
3. I declare that the Peace of God, the Joy of the Lord will be our strength. Even when trials come, we will turn to our helper and comforter. He alone doesn’t forsake us.
Make your declarations. Write it down, Make it Happen. Have a good one 🙂
