Happy Easter

27 Mar

Happy Sunday. Today is just not another day but today is the day we celebrate our Risen King. “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” – 2 Corinthians 5:21. Jesus died for us all. He came down not because of the righteous but for sinners. Come as you are. God is still waiting for you. Don’t try to get right with God. He doesn’t need you to get it right, he wants his child to have a Relationship with him. It’s not too late to have such a relationship with your Savior. Who said you have to be Perfect and Clean before you come to God. You are not far as you think you are. It’s about having a Relationship not religion to follow. There are people who go to church every Sunday but don’t have a Relationship with God. It’s not about attendance. You can go to church and still be empty inside and vice versa. Romans 10:9 says If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Not my words but the Bible. This is how you are Saved. Another Bible verse for clarification states “For we have been saved by grace through faith and this is not your own doing it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9). God doesn’t owe is anything. Some may wonder why did God sent his only Son to die for us? Did he have to do it? Couldn’t he have chosen something other than his only Son? Jesus was crucified by the religious because he claimed to be God. They put him to death. The word crucifixion comes from the latin “crucifixio,” or “crucifixus,” meaning “fixed to a cross.” Jesus died because of our sins. He gave his life for us. We are unworthy but God still loves us.

Take a look at your life now. Everything that you have is not because of anything that you have done. You are where you are by God’s grace. Today is not the only day we should rejoice but today is very Special. So let’s celebrate because Jesus is Risen. He has took a toll of our sins and whomever the Son sets free, is free indeed. We can run back to the Cross anytime. Jesus is available for us all. His plans still remain for us.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. -Romans 8:28.

The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps. -Proverbs 16:9

We can make plans but it’s God who chooses for those plans to occur.

God is here with us. Don’t give up. His promise never fails. Don’t try to get right with God. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t been to church in a year or whatever it may be. You are not the product of your mistakes. God is waiting for you to come home.

Father I thank you for everyone reading this post. I thank you for their life. I thank you for who you are. Thank you that we don’t look like what we have been and gone through. I thank you that you are available for us even in our darkest hour even in our tears you are here. Thank you for sending your only Son he who knew sin to die for us all. Father for all those who don’t know you but hear your name, may they come to know, feel and experience your love every day. I thank you for time you have given me and even your Daughter and Son who may be reading this post. Thank you that we can praise and rejoice on this Special day. Thank you Jesus. As we go forth into a new week, I commit all of us into your hands. May you protect us, lead us everywhere, guide our footsteps and wrap us in your love. May we be the light unto everyone we meet. Have your way in us.
