“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” -Matthew 11:28
Come as you are this day just as you are. The Lord is waiting on you. Jesus came to set the captives free. Are you depressed, frustrated, rejected, desolate, discouraged, disturbed, confused, selfish, scorned, accused, stubborn, unrighteous, hateful, discontent, sick, rebellious or more than this that are mentioned. Whatever that you are facing today, come to the throne of God. Don’t worry, let it go. Let go of yesterday’s pain. Let Jesus Christ be your number one priority. Experience Jesus Christ today. But you say I have sinned so many times, how can God forgive me? Only if you knew the things I have done. For it is written in 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” You are forgiven and blood washed. For we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God as stated in Romans 3:23.
There is Power in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to break every chain. For we are victorious in Jesus Christ. As the Bible states in 1 John 5:4, “For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.” By faith, rather more in faith we overcome lustful desires, sorrow, anxiety, depression, hatred, frustration, discouragement and the troubles of the world. For we are living in perilous times. There are so many things happening in this world such as typhoons, children being missing, famine and etc. Trouble in general does not need an invitation before it comes unless you create it. In Job 7, we are told that Man is born to trouble. From the moment, we depart from the wombs of our mother’s we encounter trouble. Right in the hospital setting, a child faces trouble. Whether the umbilical cord is not properly cut, the child being sick, the child not weighing enough or not breathing well. So I tell you, let not your hearts be troubled. This goes for me to as I write and ponder. I get so frustrated with college and wonder, what is next or left for me to do. But I come to God in prayer, knowing and believing that he will make a way. God will make a way in every given situation that you are facing. I am not better than you. We are children of God.We are destined to be and called for greatness. God can use broken things to be useful to the glorification of his kingdom. So come as you are today. Be changed and transformed in the presence of the Lord. In his presence, there is hope, joy and peace of mind. Jesus loves you.
