Operation Christmas Child

07 Nov

There is power in a simple Gift. So what is Operation Christmas Child? Also known as the Samaritan’s Purse. It is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Forgotten by much of the world, millions of children struggle to survive under the most desperate of circumstances whether searching for food to eat or a place to call home. Every year at my Church around this time to be exact in this month of November, every individual packs a shoe box filled with clothing and different items plus  $7 for shipping that will bring  joy to a child’s face. We must be the change we want to see in the world. You too can pack a shoe box and make a difference in a child’s life, to bring happiness to a child’s life and to give these children the true meaning of Christmas. It’s not too late.

So how can you be of help? Pack a shoebox filled with all goodies like toys, school supplies and etc. Wrap it up and label it whether it’s for a girl or boy. Send it to your nearest location were this special event is being taken place. To see your nearest location near by you visit -> . For more info or misunderstanding visit this link . God bless you always.

“Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, they will pour into your lap. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.” -Luke 6:38
